Hueo: Color & Light Trackers

This privacy policy applies to the Hueo app (the "Application") for mobile devices, created by Antar Corrado (the "Service Provider"). It explains what the Application does and does not do with your information.

Summary

The Application has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not collect your location, it does not read your contacts, and it does not send your activity anywhere. Everything you do in the Application (the colors you pick, your favourites, your tracker settings) stays on your device.

The only information that ever leaves your device is what is strictly needed to process and validate a Hueo Pro purchase, and that is handled by Apple (or Google Play) together with RevenueCat, as described below.

Information stored on your device

The following is saved locally, in the Application's private storage, and is never transmitted to the Service Provider:

your favourite colors (a list of identifiers of gels from the built-in library);
your tracker preferences (marker type, size, color, and the perimeter-only and high-density options);
the custom marker image you may choose, copied into the Application's private folder;
a local mirror of your Hueo Pro entitlement, so the Application keeps working offline;
the date the Application last confirmed your Hueo Pro purchase online: the offline mirror stays valid for 30 days from that date, after which Hueo Pro needs an internet connection once to be confirmed again;
how many times the Application has been opened, and whether it has already asked you for a rating, so that the rating prompt appears only once. The prompt is the system's own (Apple's or Google's): if you choose to leave a rating, it is handled entirely by the store;
a randomly generated identifier that is not linked to you, your device or any account, used only to associate a purchase with the same installation.

Uninstalling the Application deletes all of this permanently.

Photo library access

If, and only if, you choose a custom image as a tracker marker, the Application asks for permission to access your photo library or files. The image you select is copied into the Application's private storage so it survives a restart. It is never uploaded, shared or analysed. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings; the Application does not access your photos for any other purpose, and it never uses the camera or the microphone.

Purchases (Hueo Pro)

The Application offers optional in-app purchases. Payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play): the Service Provider never sees and never receives your name, billing address, payment card or any other payment credential.

To validate purchases and restore them across devices, the Application uses RevenueCat, acting as a data processor on behalf of the Service Provider. When you buy, restore or when the Application checks your entitlement, RevenueCat processes:

the anonymous installation identifier described above;
the store transaction/receipt data (product purchased, purchase and expiry dates, renewal status);
basic technical data sent by the store SDK, such as platform, app version, operating system version and country of the store account.

This data is used only to determine whether Hueo Pro is active for you and to prevent fraudulent access. It is never used for advertising or profiling, and it is never sold.

What the Application does not do

To be explicit, the Application does not:

collect or infer your location;
collect your IP address for analytics, or log the screens you visit;
use advertising identifiers, ad networks or third-party trackers;
include crash-reporting or usage-analytics SDKs;
send you marketing communications;
create a user account or ask for personally identifiable information;
sell or share personal data with data brokers.

Legal bases (EU/EEA and UK users)

Where the GDPR applies, purchase data is processed to perform the contract you enter into when you buy Hueo Pro (Art. 6(1)(b)), and to protect against fraudulent use of purchases, which is a legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). No processing is based on consent for advertising, because no advertising takes place. Photo library access is authorised by your explicit device permission and does not result in any processing by the Service Provider.

Data retention

Data stored on your device is kept until you delete it in the Application or uninstall the Application. Purchase records are retained by Apple, Google and RevenueCat according to their own policies and for as long as required by accounting and tax law.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data relating to your purchases, as well as a copy of it, or object to its processing. Local data does not require a request: uninstalling the Application removes it.

To exercise these rights, write to hueo (at) antarcorrado.com. If you are in the EU/EEA you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

International transfers

RevenueCat is based in the United States. Where purchase data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, the transfer is covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, as set out in RevenueCat's own data processing terms.

Children

The Application is a professional lighting and color tool. It is not directed to children under 13, it does not knowingly collect any personal information from them, and it contains no advertising or social features. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact hueo (at) antarcorrado.com and it will be deleted.

Security

Because the Application keeps your data on your device and holds no server of its own, there is no central database of user data to breach. The purchase data described above travels over encrypted connections to Apple, Google and RevenueCat.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Application after a change means you accept the updated policy.
